Enjoy the scenic drivers eye view onboard a Scotrail class 156, working the 12.22 from Glasgow Queen Street to Fort William on the 18th July 2022.
This was a day of extreme heat and on some sections, we were required to travel at a reduced speed limit.
The West Highland line heads through the suburbs of Glasgow and then passes through Dumbarton, Helensburgh, Arrochar & Tarbet before arriving at Crianlarich, where the train service splits for Oban and Fort William.
The service then continues up to County March summit and then over Rannoch moor before finally passing by Ben Nevis and arriving at Fort William.
With thanks to Scotrail for their co-operation.
