A superb volume to celebrate ten years operation of the last major steam railway in the world

The now internationally famous Ji Tong railway opened in 1995 and when news of this wonderful new steam line initially reached the west Tele Rail became the first professional film crew to visit the line, and we've been going back there ever since !

Back then no one could ever have dreamt that this magnificent 943 kilometre line would employ QJs for over ten years but that's exactly what happened.

Now with the final section due to be dieselised in Autumn 2005 it's an appropriate time to enjoy 10 years of unsurpassed steam action. This brand new DVD celebrates the very best steam action from over the years throughout the entire length of this famous line :-

- Jing Peng the highest spot on the line action from the depths of winter to the last Autumn of steam in 2004.

- Atmospheric shed visits to Daban, Chabuga, Holuka & Baiqi.

- Lindong summer 2005 scenes across the beautiful Mongolian grasslands as steam works out the final minutes before dieselisation.

If you were lucky enough to visit this breathtaking line when steam reigned supreme this magnificent DVD will make a wonderful souvenir. If you didn't get the chance to visit the last great steam line on earth this fabulous programme will take you there!
