The Molli is famous for its long street running section through the cobbled streets of Bad Doberan, see the train seemingly inches away from shop fronts. Also Germany's only 900 mm gauge line features some of the fastest running on narrow gauge track, the 2-8-2 Tanks 1100 mm diameter driving wheels putting in a good turn of speed on some of the country sections. Six different lines in the Dresden area of south east Germany:

Steam locomotives serve the Sugar Mills on the Indonesian island of Java. Steam action in the fields and around the mills. Also steam powered mill machinery.

'Steamy Java' visits most of the operational steam powered Sugar Mills in Java. Here many locomotives are close to 100 years old, supplied new by builders in Germany, Holland and Belgium to work at the mills. Access to the inside of the mills reveals much steam powered machinery from giant Mill Engines to Juice Pumps.

We also visit also the Cepu Forest Railway built for hauling Teak and the Ambarawa working museum with its rack railway locomotives.
